Over the past 40+ years practicing macrobiotic and Oriental healing, I have been privileged to meet and counsel over 20,000 people, close to 40,000 patient visits. I have worked with people from infants to 90-somethings and I have seen a wide range of conditions — minor, troubling, acute, chronic and degenerative conditions. Further, I have been fortunate to come to know and care for many of my clients over decades, first seeing them, then their children and then their grandchildren. This has been very exciting and fulfilling.

Yet my work remains incomplete, because there is still more to healing that I am compelled to understand. Yes, at some levels healing is a mystery, so I am challenged to sharpen both my understanding and intuition in order to go further in subtle and profound ways.

Whether using dietary approaches or Oriental healing approaches (acupuncture and herbal remedies),
I am prepared to help someone wherever they want to start from. While I know that the single most valuable step anyone can take in their healing is to change the foods and drinks that they consume,
I always accept someone where they are and what they are ready for. For clients who want acupuncture without dietary recommendations, then I will gladly provide this wonderful treatment.
